Another author is working on an enhanced version of the alert system based on BOTF and it's likely BOTF will leverage this other addon in the near future. The new addon includes quite a bit of customisation like disabling or customising alerts.

about the error
1. go to line 608 of BOTF.lua and make this change:

Code:
  BOTF_DB[name]['calling'] = _calling
  BOTF_DB[name]['role'] = _role
  if _level=='??' then
    _level='52'
  end
  BOTF_DB[name]['level'] = _level
  BOTF_DB[name]['session'] = true
  BOTF_DB[name]['player'] = _player
Alternatevely you can go there and download the fixed lua

2. And then open your savedvariables file at *RIFT

folder*\interface\Saved\*account*\*server*\*charac ter*\SavedVariables\BOTF.lua

and change every "??" to "50"

More productive, dueling when beaten seems to be working, but when you win it still isnt(1:10 duels will actually work right), also if you are watching a duel and the person dies it shoots off an error message.
I intend to update my rift client and take a look at these issues tonight.
So bad ass. Can't wait!
The PvP community has been running some tournaments on the PTS shard every week, and some of us use this addon to keep track of things. If it was bugless it would be such an incredible jump in our "homemade arenas"

Yes, all those annoying lines in the chat console are the Rift addon API outputting the usage documentation for the Inspect.Unit.Details() function as I'm passing an invalid unit id. Think I have caught all the errors in the new version.

On very rare occasions (got it once yesterday over the course of an evenings play ) you may still get killed by an Unknown Enemy (much rarer in PVP than PVE). This will hopefully go-away in future when the API gets enhanced.

Next version has a help tab that explains all the stats, a 2 new counters that simply holds the number of kills/deaths rather than victory/defeat points. My other addon KnowThineEnemy is lagging behind so integration with it will liekly come later next week.

Going to be tomorrow before the new version comes out, off to buy Christmas presents this evening

How is the soon-to-be release coming? I can't wait. My main problem with this is the consistant flow of large[line-wise] errors that this thing throws when it doesn't like something. I can't wait for all the bug fixes... and everything else in store.

Hi TB, I uploaded a couple of bugged version before hopefully getting things right. Will do more testing this evening but cannot replicate your problem at the moment. Did you test version 0.10beta?

Make sure you do a /botfreset

I got this same message as well. Also saying I assist in my own death when someone kills me lol. The book stopped opening after I got to a new page in the book I believe. I will try the reset thing when I get off work.
Hehe, I'll look at that. The reset is mandatory and should fix your problem like TB.
