Very Frustrated!!

I am lost please help!! everything was fine before 1.9 and being a Defilmancer this has really hurt my DPS I cannot even get it to load properly and when I can get Karuul to show up it doesn't save any of my buffs and it will not allow me to import sets

Lightning Hammer
Heya!
Just a quick question..As a cleric in Rift, I'd like to set this up so that when I use Lightning Hammer, an icon shows up with the timer remaining on the dot. I've got this set up with Vex but for some reason, Lightning Hammer isn't computing. Any other way to go about incorporating this one? Thanks! |

I don't know what happened, but after updating to the latest version all my cooldown alerts disappeared... it's as Hawkmoon said: the alerts are present in the config panel, but don't show up at all.
I tried /reloadui, changing role and set, relogging and in the end installing a previous version of Karuulalert, but nothing worked and no cooldown is showing anymore :\ This is odd... |

I'm now seeing the "missing" alerts. Neither /reloadui nor opening and closing the config panel restores the alerts.
When I open the config panel, the alerts are present- and if I attempt to edit the layout, they are in the right locations... but they don't show up at all. I'm assuming this has something to do with the Great Add-On Debacle of 1.9. All of the alerts vanish, until I use one of the abilities; then the CD timer will appear, but after the CD is off, they vanish again. This is on buffs, debuffs and abilities. My resource counters (mana below 2k, etc.) show up on time as expected. I should also note, I don't THINK it's happening on ALL my roles... I'll have to verify that and check back.

The disappearing alerts happen to me too... it happened during 1.8 too. I never thought to mention it, since I thought the addon was being discontinued... my bad ^^
It seems to happen just with cooldowns... buffs and debuffs always show up properly for me Opening and closing again the config panel fixes it, though, so I it's not that big of a flaw for me... I wait for a moment I can spare the clicks and do it Karuulalert is simply too good to pass on, I can live with that minor problem honestly |

Re: Running too slow with latest update
Quote:
Unless you're getting an error message saying that execution was aborted (I cannot remember the exact wording), the two should not be directly related. I'm working on some performance improvements, but unfortunately the current performance watchdog implementation is somewhat flawed. Even though Rift may blame KaruulAlert for performance issue, it's actually the combination of all your installed addons that could potentially be causing it. Additionally, my PC is pretty high-end, so I don't experience these warnings myself. It may take a while to completely eliminate them, but we're working on it |

Running too slow with latest update
Ever since I got the latest update, some auras seem randomly to not be showing when they should. It's like the addon forgets to look at all the existing sets (I only have three and they're not huge, so it's not that much data). Also, I am getting repeated errors from Rift saying that KaruulAlert is running to slowly and thus may not work properly. As I'm not a developer of this sort of thing, I have no clue whether or not the two circumstances are related.

1.9
Has anyone seen or encountered any major bugs with this since the 1.9 release? I haven't checked EVERY alert, but it seems to be working....

Displaying Buff/Debuff Stack Size
For some buffs/debuffs I find it quite important to know not only if they are present, but also what size their stack is. Basically, what I would like is to create a notification that is pretty much identical to the existing buff/debuff icons in the game, displaying the corrosponding ability, it's duration as well as the stack size (only in a more noticable way).
This isn't possible with KaruulAlert currently, is it? Could such a feature be added? |

Just signing for the nkThings issue.
I would much rather use Karuul than nkRebuff since I find nk's addon much more difficult to configure but I really love his UI frames. Please look into this. |
