bCPU
Version: 0.2
by: BuGi [More]
bCPU show the CPU usage of every addon, and a graph of that, one addon at a time.

version 0.2: added detail display when clicking on the graph.

I got tired of looking at the system tooltip to see cpu usage so did this. The addon itself is a massive cpu hog and shouldn't be used always on.

Selecting one of the addons on the list will start logging the CPU usage for that addon, the logging continues while bCPU is hidden, until the addon is deselected from the list. That logged data is then used to show the graph when Show graph is clicked. Clicking on any point of the graph will bring up details that shows the top 5 most cpu heavy parts of the currently displayed addon, during that point in the graph.

Couple of commands:

/bcpu - shows or hides the addon
/bcpu scale <new scale> - sets the graph scale max in percent (0 - 100)
/bcpu frameskip <skip amount> - sets how many frames are skipped between graph updates

Changing the graph size (and the amount of updates it displays) can be done by editing the code and changing values for graphWidth and graphHeight.

looking forward to giving this a go tonight.

Very interested in the CPU utilisation of your own addon actually... I need to add graphing to one of my addons but never did so as I was worried over the performance impact of creating a huge number of frames.

quite excited...
