QuickStats
Version: 0.4
by: rynti [More]
This addon is not being developed anymore.

This addon will let you always know your stats (Health, Mana) and inform you when you - for instance - reached the maximum combo points.

It's similar to the World of Warcraft Addon "IceHUD".

It is currently under heavy development, it will be hopefully done soon.

Here is my ToDo-List:
  • Casting bars *Coming next*
  • Bar captions *Coming next*
  • Planar display
  • Pet data
  • "Target of Target" data
  • Configuration (CUI)
  • Configuration (GUI)
0.4 - 06. 10. 2011
  • Bars are now finally round!!!
  • Combo points aren't displayed in a bar anymore

0.3a - 06. 10. 2011
  • Compatibility of all callings (Not tested yet)
  • Huge code cleanup
  • Target display

0.1a - 05. 10. 2011
  • Basic setup of the addon
  • Rogue compatibility

Praise you ! I was hoping someone would start working on IceHud, as it's one of my most esential addons. Admittedly, i don't like straight, one sided bars. I can only deal with the curved, player left, targer right setup. But i will keep this active as a favorite until it;s ready. Good luck !

regards

Seems like it's causing my system to crash alot. Haven't tested enough to see if it's a cause by itself, or with interactions on other addons.

Can you make sure if it's caused by my addon? And if so, are you sure you installed it correctly?

Also make sure to use the newest version, the first one was only capable of players with the calling rogue.

Best regards,
rynti

Excellent idea, thank you for your work on this. I've been waiting for addons that are either by the original authors of those from WoW (ports to Rift), or addons that have the same look and feel.

Keep up the great work,

Amazing!

Freakin' Sweet! Reminds me of the IceHud that's used in RealUI for WoW! I want a UI like that for RIFT.

Is there any way to have the player hp and power/mana bars always show but just turn the opacity down when out of combat instead of disappearing completely?

Nice. I don't know about the crashing anymore. May have been interactions with the bugged rift client, or other. Right now it's working fine.

With regards to settings, really glad you added them for adjustments. I can make the bars just how i want them. You might consider moving them to a seperate file and giving them more easily understood names for other folks.

I'm still unsure what blocksize is, and haven't adjust it yet.

Really great work though. Really !!

----

Oh. Actually forgot until now. Need bars for pet health as well.

Oh. Actually forgot until now. Need bars for pet health as well.

The whole configuration stuff will be implemented later on, and the block size means, well...
Let's explain the problem about the round bars first:
Currently you can't only display a part of a texture with RIFT addons, so for instance only show 20% of the green part of a health bar.
That said, the way I do it is making a whole bunch of frames and by that let them looking like if they're round.
The block size means how high each part of the bar is, so a bigger value means lower quality or in other words lower resolution for the bars.

This dirty way will only be there until there's a possibility of only showing a part of a texture.

When this isn't implemented soon, I'll add the possibility of using straight bars - just if someone has a low-spec computer. (Even if I got such one and it works smooth there)

However, thanks for the feedback to everyone

Hi rynti.

I've done some modifications to the code (based on version 0.4) that might interest you:
* Support different width to the three bars.
* Support rounded bars.
* Support fading the bars and combo points when out of combat.
* Dramatic improvement to CPU usage.
* Fix bug - bar 2 was not hidden when target has no calling (e.g. Target practice dummies).
* Fix bug - Rogue combo points were not updated to the current target.

I've sent my modifications to the email mentioned in the Addon. Please let me know if it's of any use to you .

Kalvir.

I already read your E-Mail and will have a closer look on the source as soon as I'm able to (Currently not at home)

However - If what you said is true - I'll have to give you a big thanks for your help

Best regards,
Rynti

Would it be possible to add an option to have HP/Energy bars visible when out of combat?

Also, the CP color is a little hard to see in certain lighting/areas in the game. This is mostly due to the transparency of the orange when it is lower than 5cp.

it's a nice start but i've noticed it doesn't keep your hp up unless you're getting hit and same with the hp on the target unless if you're hitting it... as for the planar charges it doesn't show would be nice and possibly incorporate the hp numbers/% in the bars same with mana on the target

I can't get the addon to work at all... I put it where all my other addons are, and all my other addons work fine, but this one doesn't even show up, it's no where in the game.
