RiftHud  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: v3.7.5_release
by: RagebeastRT [More]
New Forums at http://rift.curseforge.com/addons/rifthud/forum/
Try to direct bug reports to the forums please.

When all else fails, try /rhud reset

New!! No more limited amount of arc colors! Arcs are now drawn with code and not included graphics. You may want to delete the addon folder before installing 3.0 if you are concerned with harddrive space.

RiftHud is a unitframes replacement. It includes player, target, focus, pet and target of target. It also shows debuffs on yourself and on your target.

To change the position of the hud, middle-click the Level icon or type /rhud and drag the window from the anchor symbol.

To config this addon, either click on the level icon or you can type /rhud config.

To reset back to default settings, just type /rhud reset.

There are tons of toggles and settings. You can change in and out of combat transparency. You can also change which colors the bars are.
I have included 3 different sets of bars.
Now there is an additional set. This is Orbs and Rings.
Orbs can be manipulated but the rings will resize and move when you change the orb.

You can move any arc, orb and any element around the screen. You can resize the arcs, orbs and icons. You can change the font on all the texts.

Thanks for the orb and ring construction code goes out to Baanano! His code rocks :P
New in 3.7.5_release
Added various checks for max resources returning nil.

New in 3.7.4_release
Fixed error with charge routine. Fixed error with pvp routine.

New in 3.7.3_release
Fixed slash reset command to reset all settings and update config screen.
Added no-selection check in profiles.
Rewrote main routine for optimization.

New in v3.7.1_beta_a
Fixed a missing variable. Blacklisted "Looking for Group" debuff.

New in v3.7_beta_a
Complete rewrite of debuff code. You can set how many debuffs per row. No limit on debuffs shown now.
Added raidmarker icons.
You can now hide and change font the target class/type seperately from target name.
Reworked some code that dealt with the conviction bar, shouldnt cause any more performance errors.
Profiles code has been redone. They will be reset this update. This will not affect your layout and when you login each char, their profile data will be updated.
New versioning format. You can now see version on the main tab of the config screen. Using LibVersionCheck as well so you can now see if others have a newer version than you.
Various improvements and fixes.

New in 3.6.1
Fixed an error that turned drag frames on and allowed tooltips to show when config screen was closed. Started making changes to buffs. Will be more optimizations otw.

New in 3.6
Now has profiles. OOC alpha is now 2 settings depending on if you have a target. Can adjust gap between left and right sides. All moveable items now have a tooltip with x/y coords. Various code optimizations.

New in 3.52
Changing the base width and height of arcs should no longer clip them.(again)

New in 3.5
Fixed display errors

New in 3.4
Small update.
Changing the base width and height of arcs should no longer clip them.
Different growth orientations should work better now.

New in 3.3
Fixed a bug with absorbs that could crash the client.

New in 3.2
Fixed bars that when toggled off, didnt want to stay off.

New in 3.1
Fixed slider error in config.
Fixed border colors and sizes on relog.
You can now rescale the arcs and globes individually in both width and height, or lock it so they scale as one.
Hope I havent introduced as many errors as I corrected.

New in 3.0
Yes a whole version jump.
No more textures so you can remove the addon before installing this one if you want.
Rift Update 2.4 brought a new way of working with graphics so I have converted the whole addon to the new control.
You can now set any arc to any color or combination of colors (gradient) you want.
Included 3 different types of arcs. I have preset these, if you dont like the layout, just change it. Every element and arc on the screen can be moved around.
New to the sets is now Orbs and Rings. Check them out :) Orbs can be resized, recolored and moved around. Rings will change with them, you can not modify the rings other then changing the colors of them.
Arcs and Orbs can have their growth directions changed. Arcs can be orientated left, right, top and bottom.
Added more configuration choices.
Added player casting arc/ring
Added target pvp icon
You can now move, resize the font and change the color on just about every text and number.

New in 2.0
Lots of changes here this patch, unfortunately, I have to reset your arcs settings to do so.
Move your arcs anywhere, orientate them left, right, up and down now. Make them grow in opposite directions as well. KEEP IN MIND, when changing an arcs orientation, go to the Colors tab and you can change the way the arc grows as well.
When adjusting arc sizes, you no longer change wide and height but scale them. This was changed for some new changes coming (hopefully in 2.4).
You can enable/disable any arc now.
You can change cast bar orientation and also added a player castbar. The player castbar is disabled by default. Just turn it on if you want in the Arc Setup Tab
You can color the arc percentage labels now. Just click the little paint pad in the bottom corner of the Arc Setup Tab.
You can also have it display your own name if you want.
Some more fixes and alignments done that I just never got around to.

New in 1.53
Hopefully fixed when dragging arcs or elements, they wont latch on to others and drag them as well.
Saved arc heights and widths should now save correctly.
Removed a ghostly slider bar that appeared in the topleft corner of the screen when config was opened:)
You can now hide the pet bar when you have a pet.
Removed a chat output line I had left in when testing last update.

New in 1.52
Fixed where if vitality and/or planar charges where toggled off they would reappear.
Fixed swapping bars from left to right/right to left will display arcs correctly (I hope)

New in 1.51
Fixed the layout coords from resetting when logging in on a character. (The very first time you log in on a char right after installing the addon, the window still is not centered on the char if you have an ajusted UI scale.)
Fixed a layer issue with the arcs.

New in 1.5
All saved setup information will be reset this version due the amount of changes that have been incorporated.
You can now swap arcs around to show the different unit info.
You can move the arcs around wherever you want and you can resize them as well.
You can move any element of the hud around and can resize the icons. The buffs you increase or decrease the spacing between them but the buff icons stay the same dimensions atm.
You can move the percentage labels under the arcs wherever you want, You can change the font size on each of them seperately.
Each of the text labels and the icons can be hidden if you want.
You can unlock the hud to move the whole thing around by middle-clicking the level icon.
More to come.

New in 1.4
Added hp/mana value labels
Added pvp and readycheck

New in 1.3
Fixed a bug where if a debuff didnt have a time duration on it, it would cause errors.

New in 1.2
More code optimizations.
Rewrote the debuffs code to lower cpu usage.

New in 1.1
Optimized code some for better cpu usage. Buffs are still spiking it some and will continue to optimize more in the future.
Fixed a bug where turning making a toggle in config would stop target bars from showing at all.
Added a new bar set.

Show only in combat!

I realy love this addon, but you could add the option to show only when in combat? this UI is great in combat's but outside combat, may better keep the screen clean for better vision
thanks for the great work!!

I use Align to help with this. It shows a grid of lines on screen and helps you line all your elements up.

I could only think of one more thing that might be an improvement. Profiles for those altoholics out there, me included. Well after getting it setup on one character I didn't want to do it again for another. I just copied the savedvariables.lua file into each characters folder since I like the same setup anyway, but profiles would be a nice touch.
I'm the same way. I feel ya.

They are coming, trying to work out all the bugs first before I introduce more

As for the gaps, just go to the second tab, select what arc you want to move. The arc on the screen will have a white background. Just click and drag it where you want. You can do this with any element on the screen.
Ok very nice that works perfectly.

As far as the bars disappearing they still do after I leave or enter combat. This only happens after I try to change the colors on the player resource bar. All the other seem ok, at least the ones I've tried. The outline for the absorb bar will show, and then the health bar and resource bar will not show. I can get them to go back to the right state by toggling them as I said, but they do the same as soon as I enter combat.

I downloaded the latest update 3.1 and I'm still having some problems with the config. Whenever I go to change colors of the bars, they will disappear also the absorb bar will reappear even though I've toggled it off. I started with a new profile by deleting all the saved variable files.
Edit...

After reopening the config and toggling the bars off and then back on they will reappear. I am still unable to change the color

Also since I'm commenting I'd like to request one more feature. I'd like to be able to move the arcs closer together so there's less space between them.

Thanks again for your hard work.

Thumbs up Re: ALL New Version

Very nice upgrade, RagebeastRT. ^^

Mostly, i like the Orbs & Rings. And thanks for the Target PvP Sign.
I've testet it on 3 chars (Mage, Hunter and Warrior) and didn't find any error. Next, i will test it with my cleric.
