KBM: Add Watch  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 0.2.9
by: Snarty [More]
What is KBM Add Watch
This Plug-In provides King Boss Mods a way to automatically see mini frames and cast bars for all hostile NPCs currently targeted by yourself and any Raid or Group member you're currently with. You will need at least King Boss Mods v1.1.8 in order to use this Plug-In.

Installation
  • Download the zip file.
  • Extract, and copy the containing folder to your Add-Ons directory. (As a normal addon)
  • Note: Do not install in the King Boss Mods folder.

How it Works
  • New! Optional display of a Units power/energy/mana bar.
  • New! Optional display of Unit level, including red helm for level ?? mobs.
  • New! If levels are displayed, the Units group difficulty will be displayed. (Elite/Normal)
  • New! If levels are displayed, the level number will be colored to represent the XP reward of the Unit. (Grey, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red)
  • New! Moving the mouse of the targeted by number will list all Raid/Party members who are currently targeting that unit directly.
  • Listed units will now display the number of Raid/Group members who are currently targeting it, represented by [x] after percentage.
  • Marked units are now indicated with (x) before its name.
  • Includes smart tracking where once seen hostile NPCs will continue to be tracked until dead, or they reset.
  • When a Raid or group member targets a hostile NPC, that unit will become visible to you at the anchor you've positioned, or underneath any existing visible units already being displayed there.
  • Will show your focus and current target in the same list as other seen hostile NPCs.
  • Units targeted by multiple people will only ever appear once in the NPC list.

What it cannot do
  • Due to API limitations there is no way for you to interact (select that NPC) via the NPC list. However, KBM: Mark-It does allow for this with a separate design approach and methodology.

Thank you!

Took some time tweaking KBM's engine to allow for something like this, but it bodes well for KBM, AddWatch's future and new KBM Plug-Ins alike.

This by no means finished, but it's really nice to get the core engine up and running.

I'll get some up when it's closer to how I want it. At the moment it's just HP bars with names and percentage in the style of those seen on the Phase Monitor now.

Yeah, this is being addressed. KBM itself is in the process of converting to an event driven model for plug-ins, so that CPU usage is kept down to a minimum. The next version should stop this from happening as much.

Could it be possible to add some Left-click for Focus and rift-click for Target on the the list of mobs showing from addwatch ?

I got this guild request. Those functionnalities are already in-place on your markit plug-ins

Unfortunately, the way the Rift Addon API works and the dynamic nature of AddWatch, this would not be possible.

Mark-It was designed so that at least Marked units could be interacted with (hence the static frames provided). Although, Mark-It will be gaining the same Smart-Tracking during encounters such as currently being worked on in AddWatch. This will leave marked Units displayed until they either die or their mark is used by something else.

Yeah, I've noticed that. I'm currently looking in to it.

The new alpha includes extra functionality and events Plug-Ins can use, this should solve the current issue. There will be alpha versions of KBM, Mark-It and AddWatch coming soon.

Thanks. Working on it at the moment. KBM is storing internal data correctly. But for some reason AddWatch isn't getting the correct messages.
