I'm currently looking in to it. The new alpha includes extra functionality and events Plug-Ins can use, this should solve the current issue. There will be alpha versions of KBM, Mark-It and AddWatch coming soon.

Mark-It was designed so that at least Marked units could be interacted with (hence the static frames provided). Although, Mark-It will be gaining the same Smart-Tracking during encounters such as currently being worked on in AddWatch. This will leave marked Units displayed until they either die or their mark is used by something else.

Yeah, this is being addressed. KBM itself is in the process of converting to an event driven model for plug-ins, so that CPU usage is kept down to a minimum. The next version should stop this from happening as much.
