Hi,
Little bit lost in translation, are you saying that when you change role the new spell set (button assignments) don't take effect? Or are you saying that they're not showing up in the config interface? If the role change isn't working then running: /mhf debug -l 1 will turn on some tracing, if you then do the role change again it might give an indication of what's happening. It's possible I messed up the upgrade code in some way... If you can put your saved variables for MereHealingFrames.lua up on pastebin I can take a look. Thanks, Mere |

Ah worked it out, it's the macros.
the /mhf spell -r resets all the spell configs, but the config UI doesn't update to see that. If you just want to update the currently active spell set then the macros should work if used without the reset. I'll hook that in, and add in the parameter to make sure a spell set is provided.

I think I've fixed this in v0.2.5.
The command line and config UI for spells should now stay in sync if you do things to the spells. Note that: /mhf spell now has a flag: -n "spell set name" to target a named spell set for a spell operation, if it's not provided the currently active spell set is updated. Note that -r doesn't clear out the specs a spell set is assigned to. |

Certainly it's worth trying 0.2.5, see if that helps. If you turn on tooltips do they show the right things? Thanks, Mere |

sorry for the late reply, i have tested respawn and soulwalk, but with 0.3.0 and 0.3.1 all is ok. 0.3.1 : the role detection is ok, the spells config ok, layout config is ok, panels size, filter, and without reloadui, is there a possibility to add a lock option ? i know "/mhf layout --lock" lock the panels MereHealingFrame is THE Healing addon ! |

Sorry, yeah the --lock/--unlock behavior isn't saved right now, I'll add it to the tidy up list.
You should be able to to do basic {de}buff config in the next version Although it appears I really need to get on and document things. |

Tracking multiple debuffs
First off, thanks for a great addon. Already made healing much more enjoyable. Just got a couple of questions on tracking debuffs.
I am trying to create a single tracker for a number of debuffs but can't seem to get it to work. If I enter an individual debuff name, e.g. "Vex", the tracking works perfectly. If I replace that with a comma separated list, e.g. "Vex, Sanction" nothing shows up at all. I have tried with and without spaces but neither way seems to work (tried with version 0.3.3). Afraid I have no idea how the code is working behind the scenes so can't offer any help on causes or solutions. On a related note, would the addon system allow for some sort of generic debuff tracker, i.e. just show if a character has any debuff at all rather than having to specify a list? |

Wow - that's quick work! Will download the new version and play around with a bit more later today.
On the display for any debuff, I am thinking it may be useful when doing random experts etc. where you may not know all the debuff names up front or want to keep changing a list - any icon would work I suppose. Just some sort of indicator that shows a person has a debuff and that cleansing may be a good idea. Last cast debuff may be ideal as that way a more experienced player who recognised the icons may be able to prioritise based on what they see (though given my level of play this is all very much conjecture on my part!). Once again, great work, thanks. |

I've a plan to add an icon/buff slot that'll track and display the number of poisons, diseases and curses, and display an icon with the counter. From what I can see (and I could be wrong) most healers have a cleanse that clears 1 of everything, and a big cleanse CD that clears them all (or is that just purifiers? I guess I should rumage through the other classes/souls). I think it's really a case of showing the current highest curse/disease/poison count. edit: looks like I'm wrong, they remove 1 curse, disease or poison, not 1 of everything, and a few remove a specific type, eg Archon's have an ability to remove up-to 2 curses, guess i'll need to display multiple numbers and let the player pick the "right" cast. Not sure now if it's best to display just one "cleansable" counter, at it looks like most cleanses are 1 debuff, a few target a type, but not many. Guess i can just make it configurable.

From what I have seen most of the cleanse type spells remove 1 of whatever types they can cover (usually curse, poison and disease). Think the Warden soul has a cleanse over time that removes 1 per tick. A counter sounds like it would be a great starting point for general content. For progression type fights your config screen would allow tracking of specific things that need priority in a different buff slot anyway after all.
By the way, do let me know if there is any testing I can help with. |
