Still about the Inwar Darktide
Hi Snarty,
My question is still about the Inwar Darktide in HK. if uDetails.name == self.Rotjaw.Name or uDetails.name == self.Undertow.Name I found this statement in the Inwar.lua(line 489) and the other one if uDetails.name == self.Inwar.Name (line 493) As i said before, these two bosses have the same name in taiwanese version. Is that possible to change one of these two statements? Also, what kind of variables does "uDetails" include? Thanks |

All the UTID's where gathered after 1.10, so you should be good.
Also, KBM has changed how it manages all the Mod files, so it would be best to replace everything and spend some time copying across the translations. I'll be changing how translations are done soon, and each Raid/Dungeon will have it's own Locale folder with English.lua, German.lue, Taiwanese.lua etc, rather than them being part of individual mods files. In the long run this should make updating translations far easier. |

Monster Naming Problem
Hi Snarty
Now i have a question about the name of the monsters. Currently, there are two monster have the same translated name in the Taiwanese version. They are Inwar Darktide(暗潮) and Undertow(暗潮). However, it seems that the KBM cannot recognize these two monster are different. So there is a problem when proceeding to the next phase after killing Undertow. The phase monitor will display the Undertow is dead but the KBM will not proceed to the final phase. Currently i have to reset the KBM when fighting Undertow so that the KBM may display the correct information of Darktide. Is there any solution of this problem?

Will the notify dictionary trigger the mechanic timer?
Yes. Also, is that possible to capture the skills' name from the game? If you type in /combatlog you should be able to find them there. The only real way to create encounters for KBM is to actually run them. Same goes for translating at the moment. How can I know if there is a space after the skill name? In the combat log there will be an obvious double space after names. Translating KBM will be easier in the future, as I'll be using unique ID's and linked dictionaries to automatically log found translations. Although, I'm not sure this will work across all abilities, it will certainly cut down on research. However, it will still require running the encounter to "find" those translations. |

Taiwanese Version
I am now translating the bosses data of KBM.
And i found there is a MechSpy problem in Taiwanese version. When i was fighting Sicaron in HKF, the mechanic timer of Unholy Contract could not count down. Not only Sicaron, but also some bosses in other dungeons. If i enable the MechSpy (Override), it will not show the timer on the screen. I can provide the translated file if you need. Please help me to check. Thanks a lot And also, for the latest version of KBM, there is an error when i was fighting Alsbeth in RoS. However, i forgot to copy the error msg for you. This problem did not happen in the previous version. Sorry for my bad English. (PS: Do I need to translate the "Notify Dictionary" to trigger some functions? Except the bosses data and the locale manager, which file do I need to translate?)

Cast Bars
I will be changing how cast bars work when I revisit the cast bar engine. Globally disabling them will work on all encounters regardless of them being a single boss or multiple bosses.

Mercutial's cast bar keeps showing up on their fight in Empyrean Core despite me having cast bars as disabled as I can make them.
EDIT: Disabling her cast bar personally in the encounter specific tab for the fight got rid of it. Sure was annoying as hell until then.
