This Addon includes fully tested support for all Rift instanced raid content, including partial support for: Endless Eclipse and full support for: Frozen Tempest, Triumph of the Dragon Queen, Infernal Dawn, Hammerknell, River of Souls, Greenscale's Blight, Rise of the Phoenix, Drowned Halls and Guilded Prophecy plus new support for Expert and Master Dungeons. Various new and existing features are being included on a regular basis including; Mechanic Timers, Custom Mechanic Monitors (e.g. King Molinator), Encounter Timers, Tank Swap monitors, Adjustable boss casting bars, Boss cast bar ability filtering, Enrage Timers and many more.

Currently, this evolving Boss Mod Addon is housing the latest version of the original King Molinator Addon. This mod will still be worked on along with the addition of any other encounters I add in the near future.

* Note: All Encounters have full English, Russian and German support unless explicitly stated. Partial support for the French client.

Tank-Swap Monitor (T-SM)
  • Automatically tracks all tanks simultaneously and displays debuff stack and cool-down information.
  • Full tracking of tank stack and debuff duration by any raid member.
  • New! Displays each tanks HP bar, updates real-time.
  • New! Tracks and displays all tanks death states.
Advanced Encounter Tracking
Each supported boss encounter includes the following:
  • Encounter timer display in MM:SS format.
  • Enrage timer display in MM:SS format. (where applicable)
  • Phase tracking display. (where applicable)
  • Objective tracking display. (where applicable)
  • Main boss always visible castbar tracking. (skill filters where supported)
  • Selection of optional mechanic or skill timers and screen alerts.
  • Customize the size of all Timers, Alerts, Castbars and Phase Tracking.
  • Customize individual colors of Timers, Alerts and Cast filters.
  • English, German, Russian and French client support.

Commands

/kbmoff Turns off the Addon's triggering methods.
/kbmon Turns on the Addon's triggering methods.
/kbmoptions Toggle the GUI Options screen on/off.
/kbmhelp Display these commands in-game.
/kbmversion Displays the current version in chat.
/kbmreset Try this before using /reloadui, or if the encounter has ended in success didn't announce a victory.

/ReloadUI Use this in-case of any errors during the encounter. It'll reset it and the monitor "should" continue from where it left off.

* Change: Should a Mod incorrectly attempt a start due to unusual client states, KBM will hard reset the mod preventing it from locking up entirely.

* Fixed: All custom color settings will now work as intended. It'll remember default colors, and last color chosen when switching to/from custom.

New Castbar System (During Alpha)
* IMPORTANT: ALL Castbar settings have be reset to default due to how the new system works.

* New: Global Encounter Castbar settings are just that, regardless of Multi-boss fights.

Yes, that's definitely incoming.

With how KBMs' castbars and cast triggers work though, I've had to wait on finishing Add-Watch (which you'll see in an update soon). It will track two categories of adds in any encounter enabled to do so. The first are major adds (for example the Apostles), these get their own unit frame with castbar. The second type will be minor adds, these will be grouped in to a single unit frame with a count of how many alive and average of their HP as a group.

The above will be completely optional, and you'll be able to filter out which adds you want to track (if any) and what skills you wish to be alerted for.

Another feature in the works (and KBM is already capable of this) is persistent Target, Focus and player castbars (again, totally optional). You'll have the option to only show the persistent boss castbars if it's not either your Target or your focus. This will be another way I could track cast triggers and may come before Add-Watch.

These are both currently in the works, but the implementation is taking a bit of time due to not wanting to overload a raider with too many things on the screen.

Is there any chance to add Tidal Storm support for the Akyilos fight? It's the ability from the Apostle of Jornaru that needs to be interrupted. It's the only fight I re-enable RK.

Thanks for that, it should be fixed in 0.9.0. The Alpha is available on my development site if you'd like to test it. The Alpha should be stable enough by now and is close to being pushed live.

If you're interested, the error is in the Lib Safe's Raid Manager, it was "supposed" to be internal testing for CPU usage during combat for the upcoming DPS meter plug-in, which shares the same CPU resources as KBM (ie, by using the plug-in to KBM, you'll see little to no extra load on your CPU).

Just encountered this error in my chat screen while tanking a mob in Ember Isle (1 of the 3 Gushing Founts in the water zone event).

Not sure if this is a KBM message but looks like it.

It'll be ok if you just send the translations you want adding to each file, for example my German translator (Dooc) would just PM me the following:-

Thanks, ill edit addon and when done send u. 1 problem, russian servers start just 1 month ago and we have just 4/11 HK and haven't access to 4 bosses. But ill try speak with Belver (localizator) about this problem.

Hi, yes I would be more than happy to add the Russian translations. KBM has the ability to run in the Russian client. The best way to do it is turn on combat logging (/combatlog) and then figure out which skills are which. Also, making a private video of each fight you want translating then copying out the names of buffs, debuffs, casts, emotes and npc chat.

Once you have all those, you can test them yourself by looking in each fights script (all the translations are near the top and have the form [EncounterID].Lang.Ability.[AbilityID] = KBM.Language:Add("Name of Ability")

Where [EncounterID] would be MX for Murdantix (in Hammerknell/Murdantix.Lua) for example, and [AbilityID] for Mangling Crush for example would be Mangle. And the "Name of Ability" part would need to be the exact in game name of the cast ie "Mangling Crush".

So for this example, the Russian line would look like the below:
MX.Lang.Ability.Mangle.Russian = "Russian Translation for Mangling Crush"

If you don't want to translate them directly and send the code you wish adding, you can message me like so.

0.8.9 Dev News

I'm currently working on adding the final boss to Rise of the Phoenix. It's looking entirely possible I can manage to keep the encounter running during the out-of-combat phase transition.

High Priest Arakhurn "should" be fully supported in 0.8.9 and already includes Tank-Swap support, Phase and Objective tracking, Enrage Timer, Mechanic Timers and Screen Alerts. I'll be testing this as soon as possible. If I can't get around to testing it this week, there will be an alpha up on curseforge.com, so if anyone is feeling like helping out this week it'd help greatly.

Due to the nature of this fight, I'm tempted to say there maybe some false calls on wipes from the mod, or possibly never ending encounters. It'll only be for this fight though, and even then I'm doing my best to account for any glitches in the encounter itself.

Timers: Yeah, I actually messed up the rounding for those, they'll be back. I'm tempted to add an option between the two later on, since I feel it's a personal preference thing.

Couple of points although more user requests than an issue:
  1. You have removed the timers from having decimal points below 10 secs now. Any chance of having this added back?
  2. Would it be possible to have the screen alert border have one further smaller setting so we can reduce it just a bit more?

Thanks for the help in nailing this, and you're totally right. The first laser is not percentage based at all.

I've watched a good collection of reliable videos on YouTube now with this specific mechanic as the key focus, and from my data collected it would appear that the first emote for the laser appears at 42 seconds after 70%.

All other factors vary too much to be of any use. So, I'll add this in for the next release and we can go from there, but I feel it'll be as close as possible for a first occurrence timer.

I'll also be going over the buffRemoved trigger to ensure that's behaving a little better. It maybe a case of Mistress and Rage of the North can both be applied at the same time so the two alerts could overlap in someway. Baring this in mind, it maybe more beneficial to just have a 2s static alert for each when they're applied as apposed to the duration they're on as this would be more useful in a raid.

I'm adding a new monitor for certain fights which will display only important mechanic based buffs on bosses. This will possibly appear around v0.9.0, but should help in keeping an eye on important buffs.

Probably should have been more clear -- bugged as in when she actually uses it the screen alert has a countdown for it (similar to how Chastise has a screen alert) but shows 3500 seconds (something like that) and starts counting down from there.

According to a guildie, the Soulrender's Grasp timer starts at 80% and then the first laser occurs 1 minute after that. Might have been why I thoguht it was bugged because with the DPS we have now the first laser occurs around 50%. I am almost positive the first laser didn't occur exactly at 60%.
Ahh perfect. The alert for Mistress goes off the internal data from Trion, so yeah, I'll change that. It *should* remove it when it's removed, but obviously that may be the thing that's bugging out. I'll remove the timer regardless, as that's obviously pointless info.

As for Soulrender, that fight's mechanics have changed so many times it hurts. I'm tempted to dump the 60% phase change thing in favor of just alerting the first and timing that after. Unless it is exactly a minute after 80% now then I'll just stick a 60s timer in @ 80 and change the phase order. I don't doubt you, but I would like to clarify it after lockout to ensure it's consistent across every raid. (I'll be researching the latest Youtube Zilas kills again to time them accurately).

Expect 0.8.8 shortly since there are some further tweaks I need to make to the engine regardless, and once again thanks for the feedback.
