Config

Quick scan of the Lua showed that the slash command for this mod is /pbconfig for anyone that is looking for it

Liking it so far, well done.

I would very much appreciate a whitelisting/blacklistning system for this addon

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by this. Prevent certain buffs from showing up?

Yea buff flitering would be nice.

For example...
Tracking for ore, wood, flowers, and the such...
I don't need these to show up

Other than that looks great! Thanks for picking up the slack on this!

Buff/Debuffs change

I'd prefer an option to have each completely separate. In particular, I'd like to have debuffs stack upwards, buffs downwards.

As a professional programmer, I'd also plead for some code cleanup - formatting is wildly inconsistent and makes looking at the code a challenge.

I had crashing problems when I enabled this addon that went away when I disabled it. From what I could tell the crash was caused by debuffs. Both crashes were at the beginning of combat when debuffs were applied. I wish I could tell you which one, but I wasn't able to catch it any of the times it happened.

There are some PTS notes that indicate that they have fixed some rare addon related crash bugs (can't say for sure if that's what's causing the crashes).

If you have the PTS installed and you don't mind testing the addon to see if the crashes go away I would be interested in the results.

EDIT: Made a couple of changes in the new version that may or may not fix the crashing issue, If the crash issue relates to something on Trions end then this will probably have no effect.

Really getting to like this addon. It does exactly what a buffbar addon should do, and is nicely customisable.
Two request though:
  1. Can you get rid of the gap between the bars? Or make it customisable?
  2. Any chance of implementing tooltip on hover over, like the standard buffs? sometimes i want to see what a debuff is doing to me.

Keep up the great work,

Cheers

Indeed, that will be added very soon

That's something I'd like to add but the addon API doesn't currently have the ability get that information, I've posted a request for it so hopefully it might be possible in the future.

In addition the next version will allow separate settings (size and so on) for the buff / debuff bars.

As to the crash I reported earlier, I am no longer experiencing it using the newer version.

I just installed 1.4. The vertical - horizontal buff showing is not working

All the buffs are showing horizontal. I set them vertical, did a reloadui and still all going horizontal. It does look very funny on a 30" monitor \

I r dumb - sorry, I did not click on buff to change settings.

Just installed this , it's really nice on the customization front , thanks for this.

Only side note , as an ex user of Zorba's modified buffbars , is that I'm now missing the blacklist option that would allow me to hide some of my own buffs but not all of them using your panel.

Anyway , keep up the good work.

Liking it, but same problem I experienced with the now defunct BuffBar is happening with this one. The progress bars cover up way too much of the screen with all the raid buffs up. Can you please set up a way to disable the progress bars? Since the text is white, the next problem to happen will be text color being too light and meshing in with lighter colored areas. Thus rendering it unreadable.

Enable / Disable icons, names, progress bar
Bar orientation bugs
