LootSorter -- a bag thingie
Version: 0.12
by: seebs [More]
Long story short, this is mostly a testbed for LibBaggotry (not yet ready for a separate release). Right now, this is purely a display addon. It has the same sorts of options as Baggotry, but uses a visual display. Click a header to sort by it (or toggle sort direction).

Improvements GALORE!

You can now use /ls -t to see totals -- say, if you have 20 stacks of Soulhide, it'll show a single line of 1000, rather than 20 lines of 50.
Bag updates refresh the display.
You can close windows with the close button.
Default position is nicer, also position is saved now.
Some argument processing fixups so it's now practical to express inclusions and exclusions at the same time.

As of 0.8, you can have more than one LootSorter window open; each new /ls spawns a new window. Closed windows get recycled. There's an Edit button which doesn't do very much yet, although the checkboxes for bank/inventory/etc seem to work.

Slots can be left-clicked and right-clicked and should behave like normal bag slots now!
Improvements galore! 0.2 adds:
* Automatic updates when bag contents change.
* The option of merging stacks (display only, mind) in listings.
* Various cleanup and a way to pick kinds of inventory to show.

0.3:
* Added close button
* Position saved, also smarter default

0.4:
* Overhaul of specifications code (now moved into LibBaggotry).

0.5:
* Added icons and tooltips
* Display item levels

0.6:
* Switched to using LibAccounts for inventory accessibility
* Added BSD-ish copyright notice
* Couple of bug fixes
* Note that inventory may be temporarily "forgotten" by this; you may eventually want to nuke old savedvariables.

0.7:
* Partial support for multiple windows.

0.9:
* Major rework of backend, now using LibEnfiltrate. No user-friendly editing yet, sorry.

0.10:
* ToC updates.

0.11:
* Support left/right click.
* ToC updates.

0.12:
* New event model.

Very neat

Hi there,

I was checking your add on again after your reply to my post on the official forums. This one looks very neat (though pretty different functionality versus what I am trying to accomplish - at least for what you have released so far).

A couple suggested columns / qualifiers to think about for the visual display: categories of crafting, armor, and weapons... that way it'd be a bit nicer when browsing all your characters' inventories by category. Still a ridiculously cool add on as is though.

As for the issue I posted on the official forums... you are probably right, was just hoping Zorba would pop on and confirm that or mention if there are short term plans for an Event trigger or something. Since it is inventory sorting, I'm 100% ok with my add on taking a few microseconds to full process if it had to wait for an Event or some other solution. Otherwise I'm grumbling about writing a proper tracking algorithm and editing my inventory list table in place with each move (not impossible, just more prone to error than a clean/fresh list as I desire it). Enough thread hijacking though...
