Attend
Version: 2.1
by: Xenyr [More]
Attend is a raid attendance tracking addon.

Features:

- provide a history of the raids you have entered
- provide the members of each raid and how long they participated
- allows exporting the raid details as bbcode for your forums
- provide support for recording standby members in your raid
- ability to merge a raid with the previous raid

Up coming features:

- record the date/time each raid happened (awaiting Trion to enhance addon api)
- record the loot won by each raid member (awaiting Trion to enhance addon api)
- record the dkp spend by each raid member (awaiting Trion to enhance addon api)

Usage:

/attend
Display the addon's raid history list
/attend standby _playername_
Adds a standby player to the raid
Comments:

Currently there is a bug in the Trion api that will cause the addon to lose you raids
if you exit Rift by pressing "Exit Game" -> "Exit Now". You must either do "Log Out"
followed by "Quit" or "Exit Game" and then wait for the full 20 second logout timer to elapse.

If you are in the middle of a raid and you get disconnected then the addon will start a
new raid once you reconnect. At the end of your raid you can just merge the two raids into a
single raid by pressing the merge button on the last raid recorded.

Currently the addon api wont allow you so access the chat channels or the boss loot. This makes it impossible to add any dkp information gathering. I'll look at gathering loot information and dkp points spent once the addon api gives access to the chat channels.

Couldnt we just type this info in? Make button says add item. So you can add item and DKP spent.

I'm loving the AddOn, possibly, could we look at nkRebuff's interface and possibly move away from the Rift Interface style frames that seem to be non-scaling and a tad ugly right now.

I apologize if this was offensive at all, I certainly don't mean it to be, just flinging idea's around for you guys great work.

I thought about adding the ability to record dkp and loot to players manually, but decided against it. This addon is to help save people time, so it seems wrong to expect master looters to type the info into /raid and also into the addon.

Is it the just the rift window frame or also the buttons and sliders?

Well I'm having to do this anyway with most DKP system. So having way do this in game is saving me time from alt tabbing out. I keep our dkp site up to date after each boss because we use a biding system. Going keep your add on watch because I think you have something here. Hell who knows when Trion will add more to the API.

New version of the addon available supporting manual loot tracking. Either use the loot buttons on the gui or even easier use the slash command:

/attend loot playerName itemName cost

You can shift-click the item to get the itemName.

Hey, addons are not able to write file for security purposes. When you press export it shows a dialog box with a text field selected. You need to press ctrl+c to copy the text field and then paste it into your guild forum or some other place.

At the moment it only outputs bbcode. I am thinking about adding xml in the future.

You can use /dumpraid to export your member list to an xml, but the output isn't configurable

was wondering if its possible to add the boss name to the loot info either automatically or manually.

right now the loot window looks like this:

item:
cost:

though maybe 1 more field...

boss:
item:
cost:

would this be possible?

Put a new version live with this feature. You have to use the UI to add boss names, the slash command does not support it.
