Dummy Data
 

I've been tweaking some addons to my own preference (mainly the Gadget's stuff) and I was wondering how one would go and be able to add some dummy variables/data to the front end (in game) when your are choosing and changing settings.

For example you have a raid frame and you want to add some dummy data to fill in the slots so you can see what frames look like without having to try and find 20 random people as your are changing the layout of the frame.

I know there was a addon out there does (or did) that but I can't remember who did it or even if it's still out there. I consider myself quite green when it comes to development but I'm getting the hang of it now. Is there some documentation out there at all for this?
