To preface: I'm not looking to make any scoring type addon.

The purpose of this functionality would assist in the social aspect of guilds in terms of loot systems. In order to make informed decisions an abundance of data is required--the ability to quickly compare current item versus the one dropped for all parties interested would be quite useful in speeding up the decision process to award an item.
