![]() Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew how to install custom UIs when rift is connected with Steam. Because it is through steam, my directory is not programfiles/rift, and my addon folder is located in mydocuments/rift/interface
I tried to set the ui file in my addons, but it is not recognized, then in my interface folder, then in the rift folder. None of these work when I type /instalui "UINAME" it says failed to import UI in the chatbox. Any help is appreciated! |

Yes, you uninstall Rift. Then go to the site and download the client and reinstall to your computer directly. Then uninstall Steam and never use that awful resource hog again. Then you have full control of everything. Steam also tries to eliminate cheating and other stuff by automatically blocking it on startup. This might be exactly where your problem is.

Go to your Stem folder at Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Rift
Create the folder Interface and in there create the folder Addons Place your add on in there. Thats what I use for it and the addons work just fine. |
