Skada, Dottimer, etc

Since addons will be in LUA, will it be difficult to convert code from WoW addons, such as Skada, Omen, Clique, and Dottimers? Is anyone working on these?

Oh and I'd love to have something to change name color for my raid/party, and name color for opposite faction so they aren't red just like mobs, I mean, I'd like to know if I am about to kill one.

At the moment there isn't enough of the API released to know for sure what all we are going to be able to do. We shall see.
